Ivica Tončev () (born November 17, 1968) is a Serbian politician, member of the Socialist Party of Serbia and special advisor to Serbian Government since 2008. He serves as a special advisor of the First Deputy Prime minister Ivica Dačić. Ivica Toncev's posts within the Government of the Republic of Serbia: 2008 - 2012: European integrations advisor of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of interior affairs (Ivica Dacic) 2012 - 2014: National Security Advisor of the Prime Minister of Serbia (Ivica Dacic) 2014 - : Diaspora and Economic Diplomacy advisor of the First Deputy Prime minister and Minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Serbia (Ivica Dacic) Tončev graduated and obtained his masters degree at the Faculty of management Megatrend University. His brother Novica Tončev is also member of the same party and currently leads Municipality of Surdulica Tončev is married and father of three children. He and his family live in Belgrade and Vienna.
